Set in the aftermath of the 1995 Quebec referendum, Counter Offence explores the intersection of domestic violence, racism, and the societal systems that uphold them, as seen through the eyes of a first-generation South Asian immigrant family. Written by Rahul Varma, the founder of Canada’s first South Asian theatre company, the play presents a compelling examination of multicultural identity and justice in Canada.
Directed by Darshina Dhunnoo.
