Edinburgh Festival season is upon us, and with it an incredible celebration of international talent. The High Commission of Canada in the UK, in partnership with the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation, is supporting Canada’s vibrant arts and culture scene this year with Spotlight Canada, flying the flag for every Canadian act performing at the Edinburgh Festival in 2026. The Canadian diaspora is represented at the Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Edinburgh International Book Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival, and features both internationally renowned talent and emerging acts showcasing their act for the first time in Edinburgh.
Our Canada@Edinburgh 2026 magazine is your guide to Canadian talent at this year’s festivals, bringing together every listing from, or featuring, Canadians this month. Alongside it, Spotlight Canada returns this summer with a selection highlighting the breadth of talent across opera, theatre, comedy, literature and film, celebrating the richness and diversity of Canada’s creative scene.
