Two Canadian-Syrians are bringing their one-woman play Hagar: War Mother to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe – and  you can see it in London and Surrey first. Amena Shehab  – a refugee twice over – gives an award-nominated performance about how far you would go for those you love, even if that includes negotiating with smugglers on your son’s first birthday. The play is backed by Canada Council for the Arts and London’s Soho Theatre. Here’s where to see it:
