In his new exhibition, Stephen Appleby-Barr invites us into an imagined realm featuring curious characters and wondrous places, with 20 paintings that tread a fine line between visual exactitude and mystery. Executed in a subdued colour palette, the intentional haziness of the paintings allows the viewer to find their own path through the Mesocosmos, discovering the rich possibilities that lie therein.
