Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum- It Will End in Tears

In her first solo exhibition at a major UK institution, Botswanan-Canadian artist, Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum creates dynamic works newly commissioned for The Curve.  Sunstrum’s boundary-crossing practice is imbued with formative experiences of a life lived at, across, and in the liminal spaces between borders, alongside notions of home and wholeness.  Featuring drawing, painting, installation, and animation, her artworks reflect her experience of living across Africa, Southeast Asia, and the United States – plus, her ongoing research in ethnography, ecology, and quantum physics.
