Québec will be the Spotlight Nation at Showcase Scotland 2026. This professional programme is part of Celtic Connections, a major folk, trad and acoustic music festival open to the public. Every year, Showcase Scotland welcomes a guest nation as international partner. Over 180 international delegates travel to Glasgow to attend performances, discover the emerging talents of the Spotlight Nation and attend the trade fair as well as various networking activities.
The artists and groups that will perform in the official showcase at Showcase Scotland – Bon Débarras, Cécilia, La Déferlance, É.T.É, Germaine, Paruline – were selected through an open call. Their participation reflects the vitality and creativity of Québec’s music scene on the international stage. Click here for more information.
