Three Canadian photographers, Ben Mozafari, Cong Lin and Kathryn Mussallem, have been shortlisted for the 2026 Sony World Photography Awards in the Open Competition category. This is a category that rewards the best worldwide single images of last year.
And Keira Pereira has been shorlisted on the Youth Category. This category gives us a glimpse of the photography trailblazers of tomorrow and showcases the skill and ingenuity of young practitioners exploring and experimenting with the medium.
